Finding a great deal sweetens the excitement of an upcoming trip, but it doesn’t need to be complicated anymore. Splitty makes great travel destinations more attainable so that travelers can focus on enjoying their destination.

Until now, travel booking websites used the same providers and the same search functions to find already promoted and predetermined hotel deals. Splitty is the first booking platform to use proprietary machine learning technology to create hotel deals that can’t be found anywhere else.

Splitty gets creative

Instead of accessing your reservation from one provider, the Splitty platform divides the request for a hotel search into smaller pieces. Once split, millions of booking options become available from global distribution systems, wholesalers, and online travel agencies. Splitty then selects the best offers and merges them under one reservation to create a unique travel deal at the hotel of your choice, at unbeatably low prices.

Splitty was born out of a search for the perfect deal. Founder Eran Shust accidentally discovered a loophole in the hotel reservation process. When he started to break up his multi-day trips into smaller chunks, he found that prices were as much as HALF of what the main booking websites were offering.

He began experimenting, opening up multiple tabs and spending 30-40 minutes trying different ways of splitting up his booking. He dreamed of figuring out a way to calculate the best hotel booking split with one click. He realized that proprietary AI algorithms could make this possible.

He spent three years developing an award-winning algorithm and then in partnership with Avi Wortzel and Dr. Shay Horovitz, PhD. raised $10M from Fuson (ClubMed, Atlantis Hotels, Cirque du Soleil), Verizon Ventures, Techstars Ventures, and Cockpit Innovation. Splitty launched its beta in H2 2018 and went live in April 2019.
