The material available in the English version of TheMarker.com is from three sources. Most stories are written by an in-house team of writers and editors working exclusively for TheMarker.com. Relevant articles appearing in the Hebrew-language press are summarized and credited. For the sake of comprehensive coverage of the Israeli political and cultural scene, TheMarker.com also provides links to Ha'aretz, a newspaper respected worldwide for its objectivity and the quality of its coverage. TheMarker.com and Haaretz share relevant material.

All the in-house material is written in Hebrew. All the material appearing on the English site has been translated from Hebrew.

Is all the material in Hebrew translated into English?
All articles on Israeli shares trading in New York, or on big Israeli companies trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, are translated, as are most articles on technology, venture capital and startups. Articles that appeared in English-language news services are not retranslated back into English, or articles of purely local interest, such as pieces on hiring and firing at minor companies, or on local ad campaigns.

Is this the full, final English version of TheMarker.com ?
No. The final version will contain all the articles appearing in the Hebrew site that are not gleaned from the English-language wires, as well as special features, interactive polls and financial tools to check and track investments. Like the Hebrew version, the full English version will be divided into sections. It should be available towards the end of the third quarter.
